Toboggan fun on the Guggenbichl toboggan run

The region around Zell am See-Kaprun now boasts a variety of toboggan runs to cater to the   needs of its visitors.

The Guggenbichl has also chosen to join in the winter fun with its own natural toboggan run: the Guggenbichl run is almost two kilometres long and offers tobogganing fun at its finest. The Guggenbichl run is lit up at night until 10 pm, seven days a week, allowing you to enjoy tobogganing until late.

Whether you ride a sled, toboggan or bobsleigh, you can use the run next to the guesthouse whenever you choose.

Enjoy cross-country skiing in Kaprun

Cross-country ski enthusiasts will love the ca. 40 km of cross-country trails in Kaprun. The tracks start just 1.5 km from the Guggenbichl. Whether you are a beginner or want to test your skills with a new challenge, the region offers cross-country trails to suit every level of ability.

One of the most popular tracks is the glacier trail at 2,900 m altitude on Mount Kitzsteinhorn. The circuit allows passionate cross-country ski enthusiasts to pursue the sport when the trails in the valley are closed due to inadequate skiing condition. In addition, the magnificent view makes the high-altitude training a unique experience.

Leave the daily grind behind and treat yourself to a few days of relaxation and nature with us at the Guggenbichl guesthouse above Kaprun. We look forward to your enquiries.
