The Guggenbichl has also chosen to join in the winter fun with its own natural toboggan run: the Guggenbichl run is almost two kilometres long and offers tobogganing fun at its finest. The Guggenbichl run is lit up at night until 10 pm, seven days a week, allowing you to enjoy tobogganing until late.
Whether you ride a sled, toboggan or bobsleigh, you can use the run next to the guesthouse whenever you choose.
Enjoy cross-country skiing in Kaprun
Cross-country ski enthusiasts will love the ca. 40 km of cross-country trails in Kaprun. The tracks start just 1.5 km from the Guggenbichl. Whether you are a beginner or want to test your skills with a new challenge, the region offers cross-country trails to suit every level of ability.
One of the most popular tracks is the glacier trail at 2,900 m altitude on Mount Kitzsteinhorn. The circuit allows passionate cross-country ski enthusiasts to pursue the sport when the trails in the valley are closed due to inadequate skiing condition. In addition, the magnificent view makes the high-altitude training a unique experience.
